Equity in school is determined long before school even begins. That is why it’s critical to create better connection and continuity between early childhood and the PK-12 system. Grounded in the work and perspectives of early childhood and PK-12 policymakers and practitioners, this panel will highlight successful examples of policies and programs, discuss the most exciting areas for innovation, and explore why the field still needs to think bigger. A 15 min networking break will take place between this session and the session beginning at 3:45pm.
