Jonah is Chief Policy & Government Relations Officer at Teaching Strategies, a leading early childhood education company that provides innovative and effective curriculum, assessment, professional development, and family connection resources to programs serving children from birth through 3rd grade. In that capacity he leads the company's federal and state policy and advocacy agenda and oversees state-level partnerships. Prior to joining Teaching Strategies he served as an aide to United States Senator Chuck Schumer. Jonah began his career teaching middle school in Baltimore through Teach For America. He holds a M.A. in education from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in political science and history from the University of California, Berkeley. Jonah resides in Washington, DC with his wife Meaghan and daughters Emilia, Mia and Sophie.
