I am contributor to Stanford's efforts in data science and the improvement of lifelong learning, and serve as Faculty Chair of the Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies program in Stanford's Graduate School of Education. I have written books about home education, selective college admissions, academic globalization, and the political economy of higher education. I continue to write and speak about responsible use of student data in education, education politics, and the future of work.
