Alan Gershenfeld is Co-Founder/President of E-Line Media, a developer of commercial video games that engage and empower. E-Line titles include the BAFTA award winning Never Alone, Gamestar Mechanic, Beyond Blue, The Endless Mission and MinecraftEdu. Prior to E-Line, Alan was on the management team that rebuilt Activision from bankruptcy into a global industry leader. As SVP, Activision Studios, he oversaw titles such as Civilization: Call to Power, Muppet Treasure Island, Spycraft, Pitfall, Zork and Tony Hawk Skateboarding. Alan has published articles on technology, media and social impact in Scientific American, Education Week, Huffington Post, Slate, Politico and Knowledge Quest. He is co-author of Designing Reality: How to Survive and Thrive in the 3rd Digital Revolution. Alan serves on the Board of Directors of FilmAid and Advisory Boards for iCivics and Joan Ganz Cooney Center. He is former Chairman of Games for Change and Co-Founder of Experimental Design.
