Lila Ibrahim is an investment partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), where she focuses on the firm's digital and greentech portfolios. She works specifically with KPCB partner John Doerr as chief of staff. Before joining KPCB in 2010, Ibrahim had a diverse 18-year career that spanned technical, marketing and management positions at Intel. She was General Manager of Intel's Emerging Markets Product Group. Based in China, she led research, development and marketing of technology solutions, including solutions for global education. Earlier, she served as chief of staff to Intel Chairman Craig Barrett. Ibrahim is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, an honour bestowed on emerging leaders. She has also received national recognition from the Anita Borg Institute (Women of Vision, 2010) and has been featured on the cover of ForbesWoman for promoting women in technology. Outside of work, Ibrahim has established several computer labs at the Lebanese orphanage where her father was raised. She holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
