Young Jun, Jang is co-founder and CEO of Riiid, AI-driven EdTech startup based in Korea. He co-founded the firm in 2014 bringing the extensive experience and expertise in the areas of entrepreneurship, operation management, investors communication and fundraising at Silicon Valley. Jang manages corporate direction and overall strategy at Riiid leading investor communications to share the firm's strong vision and compelling business strategy with various stakeholders. Taking the lead in the era of AI-based education, Riiid has developed a state-of-the-art deep learning AI technology solution, 'Santa Inside', to deliver a superior and individually modified learning experience to democratize equalization of educational opportunity. In 2017 the firm launched 'Santa TOEIC, the world's first AI tutor for TOEIC test prepping students,which has garnered more than 1 million users solely in Korea, and practically proves efficacy and marketability of its AI solution to the global market. Jang is also serving as a director of Artificial Intelligence Industry Association in Korea. Previously, Jang co-founded Tapas Media, bite-sized comic contents mobile platform based in San Francisco, and served as CCO (Chief Content Officer). Jang graduated from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
