Dr. Venkat Srinivasan, the Founder and Managing Director of Innospark Ventures has worn the shoes of an entrepreneur for most of his career. He brings deep expertise in AI and computational algorithms to the firm, especially computational linguistics. He founded and successfully exited several AI-led startups, including eCredit (acquired by ICG) and Rage Frameworks (acquired by Genpact). Venkat is also the Founding Chairman of EnglishHelper, EnglishHelper aims to address literacy challenges at scale and has been successfully rolled out to 20M+ children in economically disadvantaged communities across India, the entire country of Sri Lanka, and is being piloted in 8 other countries in Asia and Africa. An RCT by an independent agency has demonstrated significant impact from its product. Venkat strongly believes that successful AI-led transformation will require traceability, context awareness and the ability to learn from sparse data through computational abstractions.
