An Alumnus of IIT Bombay, Vamsi is a second-time entrepreneur. He started his entrepreneurial journey just one year after college in 2006 with first venture Lakshya, an offline K12 test prep company. Deep insights from this experience about the importance & shortage of quality teachers being bottlenecks for scale, led to the creation of Vedantu, a live, online platform for imparting education leveraging technology to solve for the shortage of supply issue. Vedantu has built a personalised teaching experience. It uses AI to draw insights from data to ensure deep learning for every individual. Vedantu believes in high-quality education and has a pool of 500+ quality teachers who have spent more than 1 Million hours teaching 40,000+ students across several countries. Vamsi strongly believes in 'Teachers by choice' to build a pool of highly competent experts at Vedantu. His experience of being a teacher is helping Vedantu create a world of learning which is 'Personalized & Democratized'.
