Stephan Bayer is a true film buff and his childhood dream always was to produce Hollywood movies. He studied social sciences and business studies at Humboldt-University of Berlin when he discovered with his amateur video camera that it is indeed fairly simple to produce short movies with learning potential. Even better: these movies can be a big benefit for students as well. Bayer came up with the vision to put the entire knowledge acquired at school into short video tutorials which should be easily accessible on demand. Consequently, he founded sofatutor Ltd. in 2008 while still being at university.
