Sean O'Keefe was voted for the Most Outstanding Faculty Award at Santa Clara University, which is (per U.S. News) tied for 23rd in the nation in terms of best undergraduate teaching. He is also an Award winning Career Coach at Santa Clara University where he teaches Business Communication and Business Leadership, as well as cohort-based courses for first-generation and low income students. Mr. O'Keefe is a highly regarded trainer, keynote, workshop, and webinar speaker. He speaks about driving better student outcomes, experiential learning, scaffold teaching methods, building a professional network from scratch without any connections, and professional development. Sean is President of Launch Your Career, a career prep company that empowers college students to proactively land internships and jobs. Launch Your Career provides a micro-learning career coaching program that is delivered via text message and email, and supported with video chat sessions for personalized feedback and guidance. Additionally, Sean is the Director of Impact for Empowered Students, a nonprofit that propels first-generation and low income college students with the knowledge, skills, and guidance to land life-altering internships and jobs upon graduation. From this perspective, he authored "Dream Internships and Dream Jobs: Leveling the Playing Field" published by NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Also, Professor O'Keefe is President of Superior Outcomes, an educational consulting company that assists universities with improving student outcomes with helping students land high-quality internships and jobs after graduation. O'Keefe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a minor in Sports Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he created a proactive strategy to land internships with the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland A's, and San Francisco Giants...without knowing anyone at the companies. He earned with MBA with honors from Santa Clara University.
