Ronit Avni is a tech and media entrepreneur and Peabody award-winning producer. Twice named a "DC Power Woman in Tech," she is founder and CEO of Localized, a career tech platform that connects global companies to top university students and recent graduates in emerging markets--drawing on diaspora networks to serve as virtual career community for the students at scale.
Previously, Ronit founded and led the media organization Just Vision. Her work has won dozens of prizes--including the Puma Creative Impact Award--and was featured in nearly every major news outlet and viewed by millions of people on TV, online, in top film festivals from Tribeca to the Berlinale and in influential settings from TED to the UN.
Named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2009, a 2018 Halcyon Fellow and a Trailblazer Award recipient from the National Council for Research on Women, Ronit sits on the jury of the Global Teacher Prize and the 100&Change Competition.
