Ofir is a social entrepreneur and former helicopter pilot and instructor in the Israel Air Force (IAF), where he learned the IAF's values of personal responsibility, striving for excellence, and continuous improvement. Believing in the power of those values to positively impact people, Ofir dedicated himself to embedding them in Israeli society and throughout the globe. He is the founder of Shamaym, which builds high performance culture in organizations through continuous improvement methodologies adapted from the IAF. He is also a founding executive board member of "One of Us", a non-profit organization serving marginalized youth in Israel. Ofir earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Haifa, an MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati Joint School of Management at Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University, and is a graduate of the SEAL-Moaz Program for Leadership where he received an Executive MBA from Harvard University. He currently lives in Boston, MA.
