Nuno Fernandes has an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and a BA Degree in Economics from the University of Porto. He has participated in several executive education programs at Harvard University Business School, Carnegie Mellon University, Oxford University, among others. Nuno is the President and CEO of Ilumno, a company dedicated to expanding access to quality and affordable higher education across Latin America, where he has held different strategic and executive roles, which trebled its enrolment from 100 thousand students in 2012 to almost 300 thousand students in 2019. Prior to joining Ilumno, Fernandes spent eleven years with Bosch, which included various assignments in different countries, the latest one, as VP of Marketing and Product Management in the United States. He also served as Managing Director of Overseas Leisure Group. Nuno is originally from Porto, Portugal and currently lives between Miami, FL and Bogotá, Colombia.
