Nikki is a Learning Scientist and educational technology researcher focused on the design and development of education technology to support experiential learning. Nikki has been designing and delivering experiential learning programs since 2002 and has delivered experiential learning programs within higher education institutions from both the faculty and program manager perspective. A shift in focus in 2014 lead to her current role as a learning scientist and educational technology researcher focused on the use of machine learning and real-time learning analytics to support experiential learning design and delivery. Nikki has published papers and presented her work at ACEN, NAGCAS and AIEC in Australia and various international conferences including Learning Analytics & Knowledge Conference and the IMS Global – LILI Conference. Nikki is in the final stages of her Doctoral Research focused on the use of learning analytics and machine learning to scale quality experiential learning.
