Aprende's Founder & CEO, Martin Claure is a serial entrepreneur with several successful exits, including the sale of Pagaltoke (branchless banking). He has brought together a world class team with deep education, technology, and consumer experience in Latin America to achieve Aprende's mission of helping Latin Americans turn their interests into income. Born and raised in Bolivia, Martin saw and continue to see how many people in Latin America work in the informal economy and need to have several side hustles to support their families. Most often, these side hustles were learned informally, from family or friends, or required significant investment to attend a physical campus for vocational and trade skills training. High quality, online, affordable, and flexible training programs, with personalized support, do not exist in the region and we sought to build Aprende to fill this void.
