Linda Burch is a co-founder and Chief Strategy and Education Officer of Common Sense Media, ​the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in today's ever-evolving digital world.​ Linda leads Common Sense's strategy, education, and development efforts. She is the architect of its K-12 Digital Literacy and Citizenship curriculum as well as its Ed Tech ratings platform​, now used by 850,000 teachers in over 75,000 schools across the U.S. Prior to Common Sense, Linda's career included roles as a biotech executive at the first stem cell company in the Bay Area, a strategic management consultant at McKinsey & Company where she served healthcare and consumer companies, and an investment banker at Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch in the early '80s, where she negotiated joint ventures between US technology companies and the People's Republic of China. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in East Asian Studies from Yale.
