Dr. Tang is a neuroscientist (Stanford BS, Brandeis Ph.D. Neuroscience) and as a father of 2 children, Dr. Tang has unique insights on the science behind early child education. Inspired by his children, Dr. Tang founded Oyalabs to create Wunder - a science based AI and hardware platform for caregivers to be able to monitor their child's learning environment and to clinically improve learning outcomes. Dr. Tang has worked in industry with Fortune 500 companies (Roche), startups (Deltagen, Gogograd, ChronoCloud) and in academia as a lecturer and researcher (University of California San Francisco, Brandeis University, Stanford University). Dr. Tang is also a member of Stanford StartX, an accelerator that selects for top Stanford entrepreneurs. As a practitioner of evidence- based parenting, he wants to empower other parents to learn to tune in with their child's unique development and nurture their skills to realize their full potential.
