Kevin Guthrie

ITHAKA
Kevin M. Guthrie is president of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization making education and knowledge affordable and accessible, often through the use of technology. Kevin was founding president of JSTOR, which today is one of ITHAKA services along with Ithaka S+R and Portico.
Previously Kevin co-founded a software company serving college and professional football teams and was a research associate at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. He is the author of The New-York Historical Society: Lessons from One Nonprofit's Long Struggle for Survival and edited Ever the Leader: Selected Writings (1995 – 2016) William G. Bowen. Kevin has been a professional football player, a sports broadcaster and producer, and a consultant for the Oscar-winning film Rain Man.
Kevin serves on several boards: Educational Testing Service, Princeton University's Keller Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, LYRASIS, and Media Source, Inc.. He holds a BSE, Princeton University and an MBA, Columbia University.
