Jia is the Head of Strategy & Operations at Winnie, a platform that helps parents find daycare, preschools, and more. She is a startup leader, edtech advocate, and former attorney. She is passionate about harnessing technology to solve hard problems and improve educational and care outcomes. She previously led high-stakes corporate partnerships at Khan Academy and oversaw operations at App Academy, a top-rated web development bootcamp. She also practiced startup and IP law as an attorney at WilmerHale. Jia graduated from Harvard and the UCLA School of Law. She was a Fulbright Scholar in China and has lived, studied, and worked in 4 countries.
