Hugh (Yao Hui) founded PPLingo (a.k.a. LingoAce) in 2017. Prior to it, he worked with IBM, Oracle and Salesforce for more than 12 years; he has extensive experience managing IT consulting and solution selling across Asia Pacific countries. The key driver to start this EduTech company, is that he failed to find a high quality Mandarine teaching service for his own son in Singapore, which might be the easiest place to learn Mandarin outside of China. He decided to leverage technology to let students from everywhere enjoy the learning experience with best native speaking teachers.
