Ed Hidalgo is the chief innovation and engagement officer for the Cajon Valley Union School District. He is the lead designer and implementer of the research-based career development framework known as the World of Work™. He spent a year working on the theory of action for the World of Work™ at the Jacobs Institute for Entrepreneurship in Education at the University of San Diego. Prior to his work in education Ed spent nearly 20 years in human resources and staffing, first at Manpower, Inc and then at Qualcomm, Inc. His experience in the world of work across disciplines such as; executive search, contract labor, immigration, corporate social responsibility, talent management and career development inform his current focus to ensure all students have career development experiences in school in order to develop a vision of their future possible selves and be prepared for the future world of work.
