Cynthia H. Barbera, CEO and Founder, STORYWORLD, combines more than 25 years of educational technology, school marketing, television production, and educational content development experience in US and overseas. Her background includes VP Technology-Scholastic, VP Investor Relations-Scholastic, VP Education-Cablevision, educational design for Leonard Bernstein Center for Education through the Arts, and Executive Director Strategic Communications at UC Davis. Cynthia launched two successful ed-tech ventures, pioneering development and marketing of broadband educational content for schools. Cynthia resided in China for five years, served on the production team for Special Olympics in Shanghai (2007) and taught English at the Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten, Chinese Division.
