Claudio is Co-Founder and COO of Trybe. Trybe was founded in Aug/2019, having raised since then $3.7M pre-seed and seed funding from prominent local venture funds (Canary, Maya Capital, e-bricks), along with key investors (Armínio Fraga). Prior to co-founding Trybe in 2019, Claudio was partner and held several executive positions at Brazil's largest for-profit K-12 player (Somos Educação), from 2015 through 2018. In 2018, Somos was sold to Kroton (now COGNA) in a $2.0 bn deal. Claudio was CFO at Brazil's main eyewear retailer Chilli Beans (2013-15). Prior to that, he was sell-side analyst at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse (2008-13). He started his career at Mckinsey & Co, in São Paulo, in 2004. Claudio is based in São Paulo, Brazil, where he lives with wife and three kids.
