Chris lives to improve the universal quality of life, emerging on Twitter as a prominent voice for the Future of work and arguing passionately that the 2020s are the remote work Decade. Chris began his career managing construction projects in the most remote locations on the planet, directing large remote teams and a complex supply chain to make it happen. Having written a tech blog in his spare time he quickly caught the attention of some of the leading entrepreneurs and investors in Europe regarding emerging technological innovation that would shape the future. He founded his first startup in March 2018, bootstrapping it while continuing to play semi-professional soccer. Having operated as a remote team and experienced several challenges in doing so, the team built an internal tool to overcome their challenges. That tool became Firstbase as it became clear remote work was about to go through a period of exponential growth and the company pivoted to focus on that full-time in July 2019.
