Bill Griffeth is one of the most respected financial journalists in the country. He most recently anchored "Nightly Business Report," which CNBC produced for PBS. In January he became CNBC's Anchor-at-Large when he retired after 28 years of day-to-day anchoring. To date, he has written 5 books, most recently "The Stranger in My Genes," his memoir about the DNA test that told him his father wasn't his father. His next book, "Have At It, Sister," a true crime story about a murder in his wife's family, will be out later this year. Bill received a B.A. in journalism from California State University, Northridge. In 2000, CSUN honored him with its Distinguished Alumnus Award, and in 2017 it bestowed an honorary Doctor of Of Humane Letters degree on him. He and his wife, Cindy, have two grown children.
