Anthony G. Smith is Superintendent of the Winton Woods City School District with 39 years of educational experience, including that of teacher, counselor, and administrator. In 2001, Mr. Smith became principal of the Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School, which, at that time, had an 18% school graduation rate and was considered one of the worst schools in Cincinnati. By 2011 under Anthony G. Smith's leadership, the graduation rate had increased to 95%, earning the school the coveted National Blue Ribbon Award. Mr. Smith was then promoted to Assistant Superintendent at Cincinnati Public Schools before coming to Winton Woods in 2013. The recipient of numerous awards, Mr. Smith has been named the ABC Person of the Week and has appeared on World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer.
