Come join American Student Assistance (ASA.org) and Burning Glass as we debut ground-breaking research on the new foundational skills that will be of critical importance when their students enter the job market in the near future. Based on insight from Grade 5 to Grade 12 teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors, this presentation will focus on why middle school educators should care about career conversations with their students and whether they are focusing on the right things to prepare students for the future. In addition, attendees will learn the difference between skills needed, to be learned in middle school versus high school.
